The Greek Fur Institute was created with the main purpose to promote the Greek fur industry and defending the interests of Greek furriers artisans of the region of Kastoria and Siatistas . In furtherance of the industry undertakes to inform the general public about the Greek fur industry , raise the entire industry and to contribute to the international recognition of the industry as the best in the world in the production of finished fur . The starting point was to create brand name for the art of fur and fur ready under the name "GreekFur" and implement a reliable system for distribution and control of the label "GreekFur". Created by local unions of fur and the Chamber of Kastoria and supported by the Greek State.

Chamber Of Kastoria
The Chamber of Kastoria Public Entity established in 1948 and is the mandatory , independent , independent association of natural and legal persons engaged in commercial activity throughout the District of Kastoria.
It has registered members - companies 6352. Of these 3534 are crafts, 1173 retailers and 1645 professionals. Since 3534 the crafts are 3,200 companies manufacturing finished and semi-finished fur garments.

Το Επιμελητήριο Κοζάνης ιδρύθηκε στις 18/11/1918 (ΦΕΚ 241 ΤΕΥΧΟΣ Α) και αποτελεί υποχρεωτική, αυτοτελή και ανεξάρτητη ένωση φυσικών και νομικών προσώπων, που ασκούν εμπορική δραστηριότητα σε ορισμένη περιφέρεια. Τα Επιμελητήρια είναι νομικά πρόσωπα δημοσίου δικαίου, επί των οποίων ο Υπουργός Ανάπτυξης Ανταγωνιστικότητας και Ναυτιλίας ασκεί κατασταλτική διαχειριστική εποπτεία, ως προς τη νομιμότητα των πράξεών τους.
Σκοπός του Επιμελητηρίου βάσει νόμου είναι μέσα στα όρια της περιφέρειάς του, είναι η προστασία και η ανάπτυξη του εμπορίου, της βιομηχανίας, της βιοτεχνίας, των επαγγελμάτων, του τομέα παροχής υπηρεσιών και των εξαγωγών, σύμφωνα με τα συμφέροντα και τους στόχους της εθνικής οικονομίας, για την ανάπτυξη και την πρόοδο αυτής.
Hellenic Fur Federation
The Fur Federation is the secondary union body the fur industry and similar organizations, both in Greece and the European Union, and throughout the world.
The Fur Trade Federation was founded in February 1991 and the creation is the result of a collective request for the existence of an official body that collectively represented the fur and the production center of Western Macedonia, beyond the confines of local Associations.

It currently has around 500 members - furrier offering several decades, the best quality fur and serve many customers around the world.
Hellenic Association of Furriers
The Hellenic Association of Furriers (HAF) was established in 2008 with the aim of asserting and promoting the important issues of the Greek fur industry, setting high goals, new visions, current views and innovative modes. The 90 entrepreneurs, members of HAF, is the most important industry with a strong position in the global market, international recognition and a large percentage of sales in the global movement of fur.
